Inaugural Carnegie Arts Center

Designer Show House 2018

It is our great pleasure to have been selected as the designers for the Dining Room. Many thanks to the Carnegie Arts Center for including us in this very special event and to the Lazar’s for lending their home for the benefit and promotion of the Arts.

The room is inspired by the cheerful, upbeat architecture and details of the original home. Our color palette is a vibrant navy, lime green and crisp white. Textures and scale are a central focus of the room, as demonstrated by our Strohiem grass-cloth wallpaper, herringbone wainscoting, sea-grass and wool rugs, Hunter Douglas woven wood window shades, and oversized Hickory Chair lantern. Our art piece has been graciously loaned by the incomparable Trey Reed, whose intention and generosity perfectly reflect the tone of our joyful space.
