Our clients, a farming couple in their retirement years with no intention of retiring or slowing down, wanted to build their dream home on their community’s golf course to make visiting with friends and family a breeze. The focus of the home was the view of the course, so we established a color scheme of natural hues and infused the rooms with warm textures. The kitchen feels as though it is on the green, with countertops running right into the windows, eliminating a visual transition normally caused by backsplash material. This home defines California indoor/outdoor living at its best.
